Investors & ecosystem

How we think

A good pipeline is not found: it is designed from the thesis.

The problem

Many opportunities arrive, few fit.

Funds and corporates receive many opportunities, but few fit their thesis. And the ones that do, especially in new markets or specialized sectors, often do not arrive on their own: they sit in programs, universities, angel networks or local ecosystems the investment team has no direct access to.

We build a flow of qualified opportunities from your thesis, instead of waiting for them to arrive.

What we do

From thesis to pipeline.

Translating the thesis

We turn your thesis into operational criteria: sector, stage, geography, ticket, model, impact and red flags.

Source map

Accelerators, universities, corporate programs, angel networks, seed funds, events and ecosystem communities.

Active search

Identifying and making first contact with startups that meet the criteria.

First screen

An initial review of each opportunity against the thesis, with a summary profile.

Curated pipeline

Regular delivery of qualified, prioritized and documented opportunities.

Meetings

Pitch sessions, one-on-one agendas and curated events with the selected startups.

Process

How we work.

1

Calibration

We work with you on the thesis, the criteria and the thresholds for what is in and what is out.

2

Source map

We define where to search in each country and sector.

3

Search and screening

We identify, contact and screen opportunities against the criteria.

4

Pipeline delivery

You receive qualified opportunities with their profiles, at the agreed pace.

5

Feedback

We adjust the criteria based on what your committee approves and rejects.

It is the same team and one continuous process with due diligence: what passes the first screen enters the analysis intake, and everything ends up in the same comparable pipeline matrix.

Who it is for

Who it is for and who it is not.

It is for you if…

  • Your pipeline is full of opportunities that do not fit your thesis.
  • You want to invest in a country in the region where you have no network.
  • You launched a vehicle or a corporate program and need startup flow.
  • Your investment team spends more time filtering than analyzing.
  • You are looking for startups in a specific sector: climate tech, AgTech, mental health or fintech, among others.

How we work together

What we need and how we measure.

What we need from you

  • Your investment thesis and current criteria.
  • Examples of investments you made and opportunities you passed on, and why.
  • A contact on the investment team for feedback.
  • Confidentiality agreements, where applicable.

How we measure progress

  • Qualified opportunities delivered per period.
  • Share of opportunities that move to analysis or due diligence with your committee.
  • How many delivered opportunities meet the agreed criteria.

What we do not do

  • We do not charge startups to appear in your pipeline.
  • We do not recommend opportunities that do not meet the agreed thesis.
  • We do not make the investment decision: your committee does.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us.

Which countries do you search in?
Across Latin America, with a focus on Mexico, Colombia and Chile, where we have offices.
Do you work exclusively with one fund?
We define it in each mandate and disclose it: we always report actual or potential conflicts of interest.
What happens to startups that do not fit?
They stay out of your pipeline. We never share a startup's information without its authorization.
How is it contracted?
With a monthly retainer based on deliverables for an ongoing pipeline, or as a fixed project for a targeted search. If the pipeline moves into due diligence, a fee per company analyzed is added.
